Today is Januray 30th. My birthday, I turned 22 today :D

Didn't do anything special though. Got 2 comic books though. but I'll be reading them tomorrow at work.

A few days ago I installed Ubuntu Linux onto my Laptop. Sadly, in the process, I acceditnly deleted Vista off of it. Not that I liked Vista. It's an OK OS. But It sucks cause I do some mild Web Design and thats best done in Windows IMHO. I'm downloading a Vista install ISO though. So I'll be dual booting Linux and Vista tomorrow, hopefully. =/

X-Factor #39

So I recently started reading X-Factor by... uh.. downloading torrents of it *cough* >_>
Since I never really read western comics. Except for a short wile I was reading Ultimate Spider-Man (torrents...). I just got back into reading that one, and will be picking up #130 next week.

Will B. Good & Walt Disney

In the anime Ergo Proxy there are a lot of references to sci-fi type stuff in it. Many of them are praised and talked about. Like Ghost in the Shell, 1984, V for Vendetta, Blade Runner, etc. etc. To many to name and many of them I've never seen to be honest... :(

One thing that I never see mentioned, probably because its so obvious..., is the similarity with the character Will B. Good. Who appears in episode 19 Eternal Smile (The Girl With A Smile). (this post contains spoilers if you haven't watched the show yet)

Ergo Proxy

A few weeks ago wile on Amazon.com I saw some anime on discount. Noein the complete series was $20. Karas (both movies) and Tokko the complete series was about $15 each. I've already seen those on Sci Fi (except for Karas The Prophecy). But I bought them cause they were sale and anime usually expensive. I also liked all of them. Another series I saw was Ergo Proxy. I heard a lot of great things about it and I wanted to see it. It too was on sale for $35.99. It usually costs about $60! Great deal, so I picked it up too. =P
