Will B. Good & Walt Disney

In the anime Ergo Proxy there are a lot of references to sci-fi type stuff in it. Many of them are praised and talked about. Like Ghost in the Shell, 1984, V for Vendetta, Blade Runner, etc. etc. To many to name and many of them I've never seen to be honest... :(

One thing that I never see mentioned, probably because its so obvious..., is the similarity with the character Will B. Good. Who appears in episode 19 Eternal Smile (The Girl With A Smile). (this post contains spoilers if you haven't watched the show yet)



And cartoonist Walt Disney!





Aside from looking alike they both create cartoon characters, both had robots (Walt had animatronics created, Will B. used AutoReivs), and both liked to make people happy. Also, Will turned his domed city, oh yeah.... hes a Proxy, into an Amusement/Adventure Park!

Also in the episode, another obvious thing, is the foreshadowing of Ergo proxy destroying stuff. In the form of movie posters.





Maybe not so much as foreshadowing. Since he's already done a lot of harm. But still.
Another thing that popped into my head... It's more of a symbol of Ergo attacking him. I have no idea why I didn't see that before... Anyway, it doesn't matter in the end. Will B. convinces Pino to stop Vincent from going to the dome. :)

EDIT: After doing a more thorough search, I've found other people talking about it. :P
